Review:
I adore Ella’s writing. She always creates a story that is beautifully written, so romantic, and filled with big emotions. This is the last book in the Knight’s Missions series, and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend any bookworm who loves a good medieval romance to pick up this series. I promise you won’t be disappointed. This book follows Tristan, the last knight in the trio of friends we were introduced to in the first book. Tristan and Catrin’s story had me hooked right from the start. I was so drawn in by their story that I ended up reading it in one sitting. This story has it all: danger, battles, witty banter, and romance that had my heart swooning. The pacing was perfect, and Ella knew just when to throw in a twist to keep me drawn into the story.
The chemistry between Tristan and Catrin was zinging and sparking in all the right places. I loved the way they befuddled each other. There is something about two enemies being forced to spend time together that creates the most delicious chemistry. It’s that forbidden love element that just heightens the emotions that both MCs are feeling, and also what I was feeling. I’m also left wondering how the author will give her MCs the HEA they so deserve.
