Category romances are fun, bonkers, whirlwind reads that you can devour in a couple of hours. If you are new to the category romance world and are unsure what category romance is, here is a quick overview. Category romances are a certain length (usually novella-sized books) and are released in a series, but not in a series where an overarching story progresses. They are usually released in a short period of time (a month or two) and don’t hang around on shelves for too long. Category romances are fast-paced, easy to get into, and won’t take up too much of your time. Popular publishers include Harlequin, Mills & Boon, and Blaze.
