Series Name: Lovers and Highlanders, # 1
‘What is it I have to see?’ Anna called out, not taking her eyes from Camron.
He liked that very much, as well as the slight hesitating crack in her lovely voice. Anna didn’t usually lose her composure, and the fact it may be unravelling because she’d spotted more of him than expected was heartening.
The Highlander’s Bridal Bid is a sweet, soft historical read.
Finding his future wife
Means revisiting his past…
After making a pact with his brother to find a bride by the year’s end, warrior Camron of Clan Graham faces his toughest battle yet: to win defiant Anna, his first love. She’s fiercely protective of her family and her independence, so Highlander Camron must prove to Anna that she’s more than just a bet—and that he’s a man she can trust with her safety and her heart!
The Highlander’s Bridal Bid is the perfect book for those bookworms who are looking for something slower-paced and softer to read. This is a quick read and a great way to escape the world for an afternoon. There isn’t a lot of action in this book. It focuses on the growing relationship between Camron and Anna.
There is lots and lots of pining in this book. Camron has loved Anna since he was a wee lad, and his feelings for her have grown. He finally decides to pursue Anna after making a bet with his brother that he would be the first to wed. Anna knows Camron has had this crush on her, but doesn’t give his crush much thought. At the beginning of this book, we meet Anna, who is weary of opening her heart to any man because the last man she gave her heart to broke it. It was a lot of fun watching these two interact with each other. When Anna lets her guard down, she becomes this fun and witty woman who realizes that Camron has grown into a handsome and kind man. Their relationship has a forced proximity and friends-to-lovers feel to it. The romance between these two fills every page, and it’s just so delightful to read.
The Highlander’s Bridal Bid is a romantic and character-driven love story that will captivate you.
